Hello,
I just wanted to say that your story has placed me into an interesting mindset. Today is a strange day marking the end of a strange year, and every time I got to then end, I found myself restarting the story again. I tried, and tried, and tried to make the world the best I could, but each time I felt short of reaching that goal.
Eventually, I made a decision.
I focused on happiness, and friendship.
I ended the story an old historian with a beautiful wife and a loving friend. The world was not perfect, far from it. Dissent roils on the edge of this beautiful city I fought so hard to save, and I truly wish I was friends with all of the characters I encountered, but I am very happy with the ending I got.
I’m sharing feelings of a dubious future with the character you helped me create, but I’ll spend 2021 on friendship, healing, and happiness. Thank you for creating this story. I truly loved it.
